jon f,

Sorry if this sounds like a wiseacre answer, but the Handi would look like any other Handi with a Survivor stock on it.

My quandary, I personally, don't think I have enough Handi's but, I know I have more Handi's than I really need or should have.

Just wondering if anyone had a pic. I have not seen a Survivor forend with a 16 inch barrel sticking out of it. I intend on getting a Blackout ( $549 here in Australia) as soon as they are imported.
Thanks for the replies.

Yes, Here a Marlin X7 costs $495  and Savage Axis with scope is about $560. Thats why Handi rifles are'nt that common. I paid $500 for my .45 colt Classic Carbine. I don't know anyone else with one. Its good to be different..lol

No major gun makers here. Lots of custom gunmakers , if you can afford them. Our domestic market is too small to support large manufacturers and our dollar is worth more than the usd so that hurts exports. Please buy Hodgen powder as its made by Australian Munitions :-)

I bought, a lot, of the ADI 7.62x51, loved it, some of the best mil-surplus I've come across  ;)
Sold off last 3 or 4 cases, as I started reloading, and yes I do use Hodgen powder ;D
The dang 300ACC have been selling here for that  :o , so don't feel too bad, I refused to buy into the frenzy and picked up a .308 (I had already started developing sub-sonic loads), and as I type, my barrel is on it's way to be cut, crowned, and threaded  8)

Here in the south we can get the 300 aac,  with a Bushnell 1.75x4x32 for $530  plus tax.
Sounds  like good pricing considering what y'all are paying.

The 300 is'nt in the country yet  :(  .  Bamaboy13 try some "Outback" .308 ammo. It should be on the shelves over there shortly. Its also available in .223.
When the .300 finally gets here I'll put a Nikon on it.

hawire - Sounds like your taking a beating on the 300 aac.  I think I saw one on one of the on line sites for $300 - $350.  Full retail I think is $399.

The Bushnell can't cost $230 - $180, or does it?  If so you can pick up a Nikon or Redfield 2-7x for $150 on sale.

The 300 BLK Handi retails for $429 (@ my LGS) here in Canuckistan (our dollar is roughly on par with USD). OP, I don't think the butt stock on the 300 AAC will work for you unless you are a "wee lad..." So factor in the cost of a new buttstock, or at least an extension of some kind. I also think that you should plan on a little more power for your optic choice... At least a 2-7, but 3-9 is even better... These guns actually shoot very well at 100 meters, but you can't hit what you can't see.
