surprise delivery from profino custom shop

Gun is a topper 148 with u serial prefix.  Was a 410. With snap on forend. Now it is a 30-30 profino leaving snap on forend stud in tact. Already went outside and put a few rounds through it. Now I have to take stock and forearm off and start refinishing it.

It is perfectly safe to shoot. It was offered as a 30-30 on same frame at one time. There is a few of them on GunBroker right now.

30/30 win rifle  42k piezo.
 
receivers (frames) are one thing. barrel steel isa nuther :o

Its a 30-30 take off barrel that is inserted into a 410 stub.  Has more metal around the chamber now than it did when it was on a lever gun.   BTW, not my Handiwork, was built by a gentleman with many, many custom builds to his credit.

Jason, is that one of those 'Razor' scooters in the background? When I was 54 I ran one down the steepest hill in town and got over 20mph  ;D before it went into a wobble  :o , but I recovered and didnt crash & burn  :P
Im a little bit saner now, I only run gravity bikes.....Ive broke 45mph so far  8) ; this year Im going for '60 at 60'.

Yep its a razor scooter. You definately wouldn't catch me on it. Something would get broke.
