TV reccommendation..

  I am a history buff, so when I get a chance to view a program on history..I look forward to seeing ..and critiquing it.  There is a show which is presented by BYU  (Brigham Young University).  The show is produced by Stan Ellsworth, a 6'2"  300#  biker (Harley) whose profession is a history teacher.
   I am not a Mormon, so I was relieved to see the show is not overtly promoting religion in any way.  It is just darned interesting  history, done on location by a big man who gets there on his bike.  Very interesting viewing and generally very accurate.  Here are a couple clips of about 1.5 minutes each.

      The BYU channel on my DIRECT TV dish, it comes through via channel 374    worth a try.

  Right, that should be good..I believe he is headlining the amazing gunfight by Wild bill Hickock.  Why amazing?  As I recall this is one of the few which followed the familiar Hollyweird pattern.. Stand face to face in the dusty street.  Very few of the old west gunfights followed that pattern.

Some of his shows used to air here on KET.  Some were quite good and some were real dogs.  He does kinda help show you can't always go by someone's appearance, which is a lesson many here could learn.
