JPH, easy one first. The AA-2 stuff seems to work fine anywhere you would use Bullseye or WW -231.
I have some of the stuff that uses HS-7 data, but have not gotten to working with it. Have been using the AA-7 clone instead. I'm comfortable using either with less than 90% case loads with hot primers, heavy crimps and lead bullets. I'll have to use more than I have used before I'll try jacketed bullets in less than 90% loads. (My belief is that the reported blowups are due to slight hangfires that lodge jacketed bullets solidly in the rifling before the main charge ignites. Lead bullets do not provide nearly the resistance of jacketed.)
Pat's has some clone AA-5 that works very well for me in the range between Unique and Blue Dot, but Jeff did not have that the last time I looked.
The H-4895 looks overpriced to me and I prefer faster powders in the .45-70. Some folks are using WC 680 and I may try that eventually, but I have about eight pounds of H-322 to use first and another seven pounds or so of something very close to H-322. Be a while before I get through that lot. There's some H-335 and BL-C(2) around at much better prices than the H-4895 that should work well in the .45-70.
