Savage 12VBSS VS Howa 1500 Supreme Varminter...

Hey everyone! I am helping someone else pick out a target gun.
This will be used for casual bench shooting, .308 caliber.
Which of these 2 guns would you pick and why?

The Savage 12VBSS or the Howa 1500 Supreme Varminter?

Very curios as the the answer to this question myself.  I currently own a Savage 12vbss in .308 and routinly shoot sub MOA with hand loads. I am interested in the Howa super varmiter , and was wandering if anyone else has any experience with this brand. 8)  Thanks!
