new addition to the handi family
« on: May 08, 2013, 03:46:31 PM »
Well not quite a handi rifle.  But it resides in same safe. A cz550 chambered in 458 lott.  Shot some 458 Win Mag loads today one grain from max with 300 grain jacketed. Not very much recoil. Waiting on lott brass and then the fun begins.

Jason, I'm really scared for you when you do find enough recoil.  When's the safari?

That's a nice looking rifle, but I don't understand how it works.  It doesn't look like it opens like a Handi ??? ??? ::)   That's not another backward shooting Profino, is it?

Pete

Pete,

It takes some getting used to the European "handi".  I had a devil of a time trying to figure out how to shim the pivot on mine. ::)

CZ makes some fine rifles even if they aren't made in America.  I have a CZ527 carbine in 7.62x39 I bought from a friend of mine.  Sweet!8)

It is getting deep in here, oh well, what else can you expect on GBO.
   1. petemi, the reason it don't open like a handi, it ain't a handi!
   2. BB, another simple answere, no hinge pin.
Hope this helped, oh wait, there is not hope for any of us. Y'all take care, John.
It's not what you do, but how you do what you do, that counts.
Just keep on keeping on!
