I think that it is interesting that we can bait and photograph a Giant Squid which is miles deep in a vast ocean.  However. we don't have one example of a Big Foot "credible" (hundreds of them you know) sighting were the the observer has had a decent camera around their necks and can provide us with a clear picture......let the excuses begin.

I posted my pictures proving without a doubt that Big feet fought with the south in the civil war. I wanna see some of these movies and pictures that prove they didn't all die at gettysburg!

Well oldshooter what I want to know is who put that confederate uniform on that Gorilla? Which is what your pictures are of. Your pictures don't resemble any bigfoot pictures I've seen.  :o

Swampy, do you have any good pictures you could post?

Sorry Victor, spelling has never been my strong point. Anyway,

Among the tribes of southeast Alaska there is a legend about the little people. They are called Kushtacah, pronounced cu- Tia-cah. The legend is similar to Bigfoot except they come out of the ground in hordes and drive the people insane.

In Petersburg, Alaska there is a bookshop that seems a book called " the strangest story ever told" it is about 3 miners who were prospecting around Thompson bay north of the horn cliffs across the channel  behind  Petersburg. These miners were from Wrangle. They camped near a lake south of Thomas Bay. And there camp was over run by these creatures. The miners fled 2 going back south but one returned a short time later to try and recover the Gold they had found.

When he was found months he was rowing down the channel occasionally shooting at some imaginary object on the bow of his skiff. He never recovered from his experience.

I asked a tclincket Indian friend one what he thought had happened to them, all he said was bad water. A friend & I looked into the area, being interested in the Gold. I ordered usgs maps and we believe we located the lake they camped on. I ever visited the area in my cabin cruiser. But then my health failed and I was never able to pursue the project further.

I believe the book to still be available from that book store. Don't remember the store name. But it was right near the breakwater where I moored when in Petersburg. The book was small and not expensive if your interested google it and see what you get.

Victor. I googled the book and its available online through amazon. Just in case your interested.

Regards,

As a side note, you will find that many of the words of Indian tribes are spelled differently in different writings. The Tsimshean tribe I lived with I found spelled 3 different ways in searching historical documents. Tsimshean seemed the most common spelling.

Thanks PP. I now recall one of the guides on a shore excursion on my Alaskan cruise mentioning them.

I can do without them; already have hordes of little people coming out of the woodwork (as opposed to the ground) at my job to drive me insane.

:)  Howdy! Back to the original post, "Well do you believe in bigfoot or not?" Your answers can be all sorts of things; however, if you DO NOT Believe in BF, then give your reasons why you think this. Or, if you DO Believe in BF, then give your reasons why. Or, my answer is I DO NOT KNOW! I do not have enough information that would make me say, I don't believe there is nor do I have enough information that would make me say, Yes, I do believe in BF. However, people are seeing something! Either imagined, real, or some other explanation. And, I am hoping that at some point in the future, the mystery will be solved! Always, Gene

I believe that some people are seeing something. I don't believe it's all a hoax. Of course some is faked but that doesn't mean all is.

Each of us has life experiences that shape what we can believe or not believe. My life work has put me in situations that exposed me to supernatural manifestations that like bigfoot, have no basis of proof. I mean you can't really see Gods footprint in the conventional way. I believe Gods footprint can be seen in changed lives, and Maciles that defy the laws of nature.

In my experience there have been times that God opened my eyes to see into the spiritual realm around us. Usually he was showing me something to warn me or help me understand how to deal with a situation. But other times the powers of darkness have come to do spiritual warfare. Let me say that the name of Jesus and his shed blood is our covering in these cases. We have authority over the powers of darkness in the name of Jesus.

If bigfoot is a demonic manifestation, as I suspect, that would explain the lack of physical evidence. It would also mean our carnal weapons, guns, are useless against him.

As time grows short for the church age and we fast approach the return of our lord Jesus Christ, these type of manifestations will continue to reveal themselves bringing fear & confusion into the world.

I will always believe there is the possibility of a new genus or species of animal.  However, to date, I do not see any physical "credible" evidence which has been presented......just volumes of pseudo evidence which is easily torn apart scientifically.  The Bigfoot  syndrome is a belief system closer to a religious belief than a provable scientific one. Swampy's "because I say so" evidence does not cut it with me.

Well, I know 1st hand  how worthless eye witness ID is.  So it's up to the Bigfoot believers to prove with some type of physical evidence that a creature of this world exists as so many claim.  If Bigfoot is a spirit in your mind then so be it........but don't tell me it's real beyond all doubt.

Have you ever felt the overpowering presence of the demonic strongman of a geographic place?

In Daniel we see a example of that power when the prince of Persia withstood the angle of The Lord from bringing the answer to prayer for 21 days.

Your fortunate to have lived in the Bible Belt all your life, don't know if you've ever gone into places of extreme darkness but I have. Our enemy has power, but God is greater, But until you have met the strong man Paul talks about you don't know how strong he is. I'm not putting you down just sharing where I've been.

Yeah I know things like this exist. I don't believe their here to help us but to deceive us. If you ever meet one you will feel the power & the evil, unless he comes as a angel of light to deceive.

If you don't agree or understand me that's ok. Most Christians didn't understand the apostol Paul either. But he had been places most believers are not called to go.

We each live in our experience & faith.
