My 12 ga. new englanders barrel is in Anchorage at my daughters. But I have a 50cal. NE barrel in a wood stock here in Florida with me. The shotgun & rifle barrels interchange so are the same diamature

What are you trying to do?

not 100% sure & can't locate my calipers at the moment but I believe they are 1in diameter. and as Byron says, rifle & shotgun barrels interchange on them. the 50cal I have in the muzzleloading ads section started out as a shotgun.

I just pulled 1.036" at the furthest point back and 1.020" at the end of the stock. Cheap china calipers but they seem dead on when i measure known projectiles.  Cant explain it but on the .50 version i get 1.022" and .995" for the same points of measurement.  J
