Today is Mothers day.
« on: May 12, 2013, 07:54:37 AM »
As most of you know, Patty and I both lost our Mothers last year.If you are lucky enough to still have your Mother with you be very thankful. Give her a card, flowers, take her out to a good meal, give her a call, just go visit and have some quality time while you can.

When our parents die, all the knowledge they have, personal experiences, etc die with them. Talk to them , learn from them. MY Mother was also my MOM. Every generation that passes we lose knowledge.

Her generation went through WW11, she worked in an ammo factory and almost died from the chemicals. The home folks went through rationing of various foods and goods. Coffee, tea, sugar, flour, etc. Even gasoline and tires, even doing without elastic on underpants for the war effort.
Call your Mom today if you can, let her know you love her. POWDERMAN.  ;D ;D
