3 1/2" and 2 7/8"
« on: May 12, 2013, 12:31:40 PM »
I have an old H&R single shot 10 gauge and it is a 3 1/2" chamber...

Can I still shoot the 2 7/8" from this chamber?...

Thanks...BCB

Yes,
I have shot them through my 3.5" 10ga.
Similar to shooting 2.5", 2.75", 3" out of a 3.5" 12 ga.
Or shooting 38 Specials out of a 357 mag.
RST offers a wide variety of 2 7/8" shells in 10 round boxes for hunting and target shooting, although expensive for target shooting.
If you buy a MEC 10 ga reloader it comes with a station that will load for 2 7/8" shells.
