Now what???
« on: May 17, 2013, 10:32:11 AM »
First Korea then Vietnam then Iraq then Afganistan, now possibly Syria. When the hell is this country of ours going to mind its own business and stay the hell out of the 3rd world countries affairs? All we have to show is casualties, money we borrowed to give to foreign aid while we can't even support our own programs.Homeless veterans, citizens going hungry and houses being foreclosed on.Its about time these knuckle heads in congress smarten up and take care of our own needs.

I was behind the first Bush and desert storm and of course wanted retribution after 911 but funny how 22 years have slipped by and we've been fighting one war or another over there about the entire stretch. I imagine we'll never leave, just become more entwined in it all till Jesus comes back. j

Eisenhower warned us about it , the military industrial complex. All those that blindly follow a party and support the spending of lives and capital that supplies no return other than to the industries that make and sell the goods to the "military industrial complex" .  We have become too dependent upon the "party" to represent us when in most cases we don't examine the end result of what they do.

it is my sincere hope and desire that this whole scenario ends with an impeachment of obama and holder.

neither of these two should be in the positions they're in and have proven so beyond any shadow of a doubt.

i am not holding my breath waiting, though.

i suspect the next "engagement" will be Iran or NK
