K-22 Outdoorsman sight adjustment
« on: May 18, 2013, 02:29:31 PM »
I just acquired a K-22 Outdoorsman with the "3" screw rear sight.  Before I booger anything up on this classic how is the elevation adjustment made with this particular set up?  The windage is dead on but it's shooting about 4 inches high at about 15 yards.  Thanks, T.

After some research I figured it out to be the same as the early CMRs.  The earlier "Outdoorsman" only had one screw in the rear which makes the elevation adjustments very straight forward.  The later first generations have two rear screws.  The forward screw is a set screw and the rear screw is for the adjustments.  Just loosen the front screw, make your adjustments with the rear screw and tighten the front screw to "set" and your done.  I guess I've answered my own question.  Thanks.
