Guitars, guitars..interesting sidelight..
« on: May 29, 2013, 01:23:09 AM »
It seems Gibson Guitars uses a certain type of rare but legal wood (ebony?) on their guitars..  The Obama admin sent about 30 SWAT type cops into Gibsons facility and shut them down for a long period, seizing their wood and costing them greatly..
A side note; Gibson leadership is very conservative and outspoken about it.

Martin Guitars uses the same wood, supports Obama & Co..no raid..no hassle...          Coincidence ?

I believe they purchased a legal wood from India but received an illegal wood because of a mistake by the seller. This happened to both company. Wounder why they got the paramilitary raid and Martin did not!!  Can these people in government really be that stupid to think they can get away with this type of action.  Don't they realize with the internet every one in the world gets the info before the event is even completed.  We need to look for smarter people to run this country.

You wouldn't have to look very hard to find people who are smarter than what we have running this country right now.
