when you look at it from a perspective based in the Constitution...the federal government has expanded FAR BEYOND it's intended purpose, design and intent...

why, in the world, should the federal government be in the home mortgage business? health insurance business? student loan business? regulation of private sector businesses?

answer: they shouldn't...

No they certainly shouldn't, but its obvious there are many voters that want them involved in everything. Little do those voters know, they are playing into the hands of tyrants.

CDQ, the USPS is bankrupt. If they were a privately owned business, they would have been gone long ago. Using the USPS as an example of why big government is good, is a pretty lame example. In fact there are no good examples of us benefiting from a big, over grown, wasteful, government.

Well seems since you didn't read it , you must have some basis for the strong opinions that you have on the subject, maybe just myna-birding opinions you have heard from others that probably didn't read it either.

For starters, how about the basic fact that government doesn't, and can't fix anything. Whatever they do try to do the inefficiency is off the scale. Also every time they do, do something that they have no business what so ever. Some of our liberty is removed. Its beyond me how some of you support something as draconian as Obamacare.

Simple answer: make government BETTER. NOT smaller, BETTER.
Making govt smaller by getting rid of the IRS, ATF, Obama and Eric Holder would make it better.

RICK. Good posts Sir, I'd add a few more to your list. NEA, epa, homeland security, my goodness, the list would be a long one. Let the states take care of their own laws. POWDERMAN.  :o :o
