We got back from ILL today. Semi almost wiped us out in Ind, he ran another car off the shoulder into the grass, the car driver did a heck of a great job saving himself, he actually slid sideways before straightening it out. All because one semi could go 65 mph and the other jerk had one that could go 66 and tied up the left lane for miles.
I had a bad night last night. After giing t bed at the motel I had a tightness in my chest that got so bad I couldn't lay down. I got up and sat in a chair and took a nitro and a couple antacids. It finall let up after about 45 min where I could go to sleep. Stress I reckon.
Alfred, my old hunting and fishing buddy, didn't know us Tues evening, he slept a lot. He and Sally have been like a 2nd set of parents to me and my siblings. Wed morning we went back and they had him in the tv room. He knew us then. We sat and talked over an hour and had a great visit, we shot deer and lots of rabbits and squirrels and caught a bunch of fish, just like we used to. He can barely stand, can't walk at all. His ins ran out, so did medicare, they are paying out of their pocket for the nursing home care. I feel a bit better because he gets great care there. Sally stays all day.
Sometimes he's lucid, sometimes not. Some local punks broke in his house in broad daylight and stole all of his guns and ammo they could find. They got caught and he got his guns back but not his 22 ammo. Punks are 10 and 12 years old. I doubt I'll ever see him alive again. We visited Jadyns grave, and my parents. Saw my son. He said he loves us but doesn't want much to do with family, he said, I wish I was dead so I could see Jadyn again. He didn't even invite us in. Please pray for John and Kristine. POWDERMAN.
