It is said that in 1779 It was so cold for so long that New York harbor froze over. Has anyone seen anything like that up there. I'm watching a documentary about the Revolution. Our fore fathers had a tuff winter that year. We are lucky they survived, but then that was when the men were made of steel and the ships were made of wood.

I saw a documentary like that a few years ago. Those guys actually boiled their boos to eat, some did starve to death. POWDERMAN.  :o :o
