Confetti for Golf Ball Mortar
« on: May 31, 2013, 07:34:43 PM »
Have a golf ball mortar, very sturdy and well made, no issues there. Would like to safely shoot some confetti for July 4th. Very solid mortar, have shot 100's of golf balls but now have neighbors so no more fire at will.
Any who's shot confetti out of one, let me know what you did as far as the powder charge and how you loaded it for the confetti to put on the best display.
Thanks

I would think there is some risk of burning confetti here so I would suggest soaking it in baking soda first which would render if non-combustible.  Dry out before use.  Borax could also be used.
