Pulled bvr line today!
« on: February 22, 2004, 05:34:17 PM »
Water is coming on top of river ice and making it treacherous so pulled lines off rivers...... went thru twice with snomo and sled but got out....... have over 3 foot of snow now and hard to run sled without snowshoeing first so will  wait for open water which  could be in a couple of weeks.   Picked up some very nice bvr  and  will get ready for open water now after putting bvr up.  When ice goes out  i will be setting traps on rivers that open up first and then the smaller creeks and tributarys.

Rdfx, want to come up and help me, might as well get one more snowcat stuck.  I started a new line last week in a area I have never been before more for exploration purposes than anything.  Gonna to barely make gas not as many beaver as I had figured.

I had left my snowmobile at lake of the woods for the winter but wasnt smart enough to leave it there.  I think I am going to pull Wednesday and than the sleds going to the lake for good.  Heck aint nothing better than ice fishing in March and early April anyway.
