Caught on Tape. College Kids Thank IRS For Targeting Conservatives 06/04/13
Someone went to a campus with a faux "Thank You IRS!" sign with a picture of Obama on it. They wanted to see how many people would sign this card expressing their gratitude that the Tea Party and religious organizations were targeted.

These college kids are so happy the IRS targeted Conservatives that they signed a huge thank you card.

This IRS thing is just amazing. Add the, enforcement of obamacare to the multiple scandals now in the news, and their already well established reputation as a despised entity, and you have one heck of an issue for people to focus on.

I wasn't following the scandals initially, but they have gotten interesting to a degree I have not seen since the Watergate hearings.

Pathetic!
Even though I think everything the liberals do is hurting America ,I still would defend their rights.
Not because I agree with the liberals in anyway , but because I know that today they go after one group and the next day they go after me!
This isn't the UNITED STATES anymore.
Now it's the libs against the conservatives in an all out war.
I don't think this country was this divided since the civil war!
Thanks obo!

Not all of them Brett, some of them work harder than anyone I've ever seen. But they do say they
feel displaced like they don't know where they are heading.
And they are more unified and less prone to racism than previous generations have been.
They are not tied down to traditional thinking or ancestral customs. Some are very young parents
that took on that responsibility without question working two full time jobs.
We get them after that catches up with them and the surprising thing is they are clean and sober.
They do have youth on their side and can go for awhile with only four hours sleep a day.
They don't seem to be focused on moving up they accept what they have and just do it.
If they vote its across the board and they stay low key on thier politics.

These are the ones we don't hear about in the MSM because they are not in trouble and always
working. They do however find jobs that are flexible enough for them to take off with a moments
notice if need be. Not to go slack off but usually to get the baby to a doctor or go take care of a
family member. I see where bosses accuse them of being slackers but with further examination
that can't be farther from the truth. Why do we see them in a case like this?
Because some boss forces them to go take a drug test, 80% of them come up negative with that
boss demanding that we missed something. We didn't miss anything we find out the kid is loaded
up on these energy drinks like monster. And had another job somewhere and was keeping that a
secret because that boss was too cheap to pay anyone a livable wage.

Even our local newspapers have done articals about this there are tons of jobs out there but none of
them pay worth a hoot. Police report they pull over these kids thinking they are drunk only to find
out they are falling asleep at the wheel! The vehicle isn't full of booze or drugs its full of baby
diapers and toys. And who do they work for that's sending them all over the place doing odd jobs
or get fired? Here we go again its a staffing agency, company's are getting to where that's all they
want to hire. No commitment, no benifits, no job security, no overtime pay. They get away with this
by have three agency's with different names but are still the same cheap crook in the end.
Getting $25.00 an hour while paying these kids peanuts threatening them with being blackballed
if they don't comply. No wonder some states are looking to ban these agency's.

Keeping each individual agency working their people under 24 hours a week posting them up as
part time avoiding taxes, commitment, benifits, or any overtime pay. Laugh if you want its a
practice that's catching on you either take it or you don't work. These kids say they have asked
the contract company to hire them outside the agency but are told they don't do anything outside
the agency and they can't talk to them about it. Because they don't want to that's why no benifits,
holiday or vacation pay,no overtime, medical, its all a loophole including getting around Obamacare.

No, we can't paint that generation with a broad brush..  There are some who are very interested in preserving and maintaining the constitution and our traditional way of life.(e.g. troops now serving).   Then there are those who are only out for "what they can get".. but of course, that is true in greater or lesser numbers in any age group (e.g. OWS)
The remarkable thing here is that so many on a college campus consider themselves "informed", yet they are willing to trash the first amendment of our constitution..  Either we protect the constitutional rights for ALL..or we lose them for ALL!!
..But then we must consider, to the selfish, the constitution and our American way of life are valuless..   The proof of this is highlighted in that many of them voted to.. "fundamentally transform America".

BTW:  I wonder..is anybody happy with what America is being transformed into?

Why rip on the kids for having youthful idealistic opinions. That's part of being that age.

The thing to focus on is the IRS abuses. That's the root issue here. And that was caused by people in their 40s and 50s. So if a generation needs to be identified as being brain dead regarding this massive corruption it's the boomers and the gen-x'ers.

I spent yesterday at the Bible camp helping out, some very nice young people there who are on their way
to being adults who live lives pleasing to the Lord, and that is the goal of this life.
20 years at a public U I saw more and more young people who were not afraid to proclaim their faith in Christ and
acceptance of His preeminence in their lives.  It was a liberal public university, is there any other kind? Kids away from home can forget the guidance they received at home and start rubbing elbows with those who haven't been guided in a G-dly manner.
It would be a help for each college kid to keep a picture of the family displayed so they don't forget where they came from.
I saw a message on a kids door along with a copy of his notice to appear, "the arresting officer never thinks what you did was as funny as you do".
The frontal lobes of the brain are not fully developed until around 28-30, no wonder they can be duped and swayed.

Hold on Conan, I'm not ripping on all the young..  I SAID many of them are altruistic, patriotic and willing to sacrifice if necessary, for their country.  Is it only a coincidence, that most of them have a first name that starts with..Sgt, Cpl, L-Cpl  or Lieutenant...

William; You are correct in that they didn't show those who may have told him to "kiss off"..and perhaps I am expecting too much, but I wouldn't expect a single American student who ever read the constitution to be willing to trash the same..
Still, I suppose there is a percentage who are only there for the 'fun & games'...

What's amazing is how many young kids don't use drugs,.or alcohol or even smoke.
Sometimes I think its because they can't afford it but a lot of them came from homes where the
parents did do all of that. Perhaps they saw what that can do and it is a big factor in kids dropping
out of school to get away from all that mess.
The one thing I see them getting in trouble with more than anything else is getting over their
heads from buying a new vehicle. That $500.00 per month didn't sound so bad at first until they
figure out that insurance, gas, and maintenance are also a factor.
About six months is usually all it takes before the vehicle gets repossessed. Then their credit is
messed up right when it just got started. Some dealerships do try to counsel them on buying a new
car but most of them don't care. Its the lenders who need to be more responsible in approving a
kid just starting out. And these credit card company's do not need to send a kid a pre approved
card with a $10,000.00 limit then whine about how they lost their money looking for a bailout.
The lender is just as responsible as the borrower in cases like this its irresponsible on both parts.
And at least some courts are starting to see it that way. A fool and his money soon go their separate
ways the tax payer should not have to foot the bill for ignorance.

Wants and needs, i know Edward R. Murrow was a proponent of using tv for education, CBS sold out to use it for entertainment,
now we have some who are so dumbed down  they believe what they are told  to believe. Hard to have critical thinking when the foundation of truth hasn't been layed.
But , as Anna has noticed, there are indeed those young people who seek truth, predestined perhaps to come to Him who gives out blessings to those that He calls.

They have the right to speak out even if its stupid. They even have the right of passage, in that they can do stupid stuff right up until it gets them hurt. Someone needs to inform the educated uninformed that while all that is fine and dandy the tides of politics come and go and ebb and flow and who is in power today may not be next year and you may find yourself on the receiving end of tyranny! Especially if you found tyranny cute and amusing before.  :-\

My perspective on the subject is a bit different.  I submit that the further our society get from the land, the more liberal it has become.  If you are looking to locate where the majority of conservatives are, look no further than the more rural areas.  Rural folks still retains the values of hard work, dedication to family, friends and country, and a deep beleif in God.  Now, where are all the more liberal minded folks located?  Look at any recent election map.  The more urban an area is, the more liberal it votes.  These folks live in an almost totally man made world where everything is at thier finger tips and there is alway "somebody else" to take care of their problems and needs.  If their work can't be done on a computer or cell phone, they are helpless.  Uuuuh, which end of this screw driver do I use?  Friends?  Oh, yes!  I have plenty on facebook!  Country??  Just what has it done for ME?  God?  Who need God and all those rules...man can provide me with everything I want right here in the city!  They are also being indoctrineated with this mentality in primary school right up through college.

Unfortunately, this country has just turned the corner on rural vs. urban population.  Us country boys and girls are outnumbered.
All that is left is to pray that God will open the eyes of the people and politicians in this country, and stand firm on my beliefs and values.  I'm afraid the OP may be right though.  It's gonna take more than prayers.  It may take some kind of collapse of this country for eyes to be opened.
As John Denver said: "Thank God I'm a country boy!"

Rural vs Urban= Cooperative personalities vs Competitive personalities= loving your neighbor vs indifference to them.
Heard Ravi Zacharias teach that the opposite of love is not hate, but indifference.
G-d loves us so much He gave His only begotten son, the Wrong side seeks to deceive, divide, destroy.
I get to hear Ravi Zacharias on Oneplace, he's really smart.
