Shootall & Justashooter;
Don't let some jerk spoil your day! I was born in the north (NY State) and live there today, however I have lived several years in the south, both in the military & otherwise.. I like the south, sure enough..and I like the north..outside of the cities...
I live in very rural NY and if you were to hear the term "redneck" around here, we would be more likely be using it on each other, rather than anyone else..
That smart-aleky attitude normally comes from the cities, and they are a different breed of cat. They often put on an urbane, "cool", even superior attitude, but I believe they secretly admire the freewheeling independence and versatility of country folks, who generally know enough to raise their own foodand take care of most any problem which may come up on their acreage. After all, the big city dwellers are very dependent upon others for almost anything..water, sewage, even a place to park their car..it seems they would HAVE to envy we who are not so constrained..
Northern country folks have much more in common with southern country folks than they ever can with northern city folks.
