I have a steel frame Navy Arms Colt 1851 .36 I got many years ago and have shot it cap and ball. However, I would like to get an R&D conversion cylinder for it, but I'm not exactly sure which one would be correct--Pietta or Uberti? I had heard that the 1851 was manufactured for Navy Arms by Pietta, but I had also read somewhere Uberti manufactured for them. Any idea which one?
