Stock wood on new Ruger #1?

Is the stock wood on new #1's better than the older models?  On the Ruger web site the stocks show a lot of detail.  Just wondering if the purtyed' them up for the pictures or if they really are better?

Last 1S i bought in 45/70 had a gorgeous piece of wood on it . The 1B i bought was nice but not as nice as the 1S
