I could live with Janice Brewer as president. If she's ever backed down I have heard about it. But if Hilary runs, with our voters for dollars, she will win. I can see a lot of folks around where I live with green tractors in their yards, and the government housing crowd, that would love another 4 years of Clinton.

"Hillery...never, never never".  I won't go that far.  As bad as she is, I'd rather have her in there NOW rather than the iggit we have.  Otherwise, I agree!

I agree, with the way people in this country vote anymore, if Hillary runs, I say she wins. It would all be in one package, a women who's butch, and a socialist, thats going to offer everything we want.

If Hillary wins, it's because the Republicans can't find anyone better. They threw away the last 2 elections when it should have been an easy win for them. If they lose again, they only have themselves to blame. The Republican Party reminds me of an NFL team losing to a high school team  and blaming their loss on everything but their own ineptness.

The farmers here do the same Anna. They act poor, drive limited edition pickups out to the farm to check on their illegal farm workers, and take vacations in Europe, and several a year in the states. They talk about how hard it is, and haven't a clue that "EWG Farm Subsidy Data Base" tells everyone that looks, how much money they get, and that they also have their wives and kids signed up for the same land and crops, and how much they get also.
Their not gonna vote against the hand that writes them their checks.

Sorry no illegals working grain farms here, hog confinements and dairies maybe, most farmers vacations are typically to Mexico during the winter, and there are a lot of brand new blue and red tractors also. Most have multiple pickups written off, including the ones their kids drive and they put land in multiple family members names to take advantage of subsidies. I have heard some talking about how they write off a different gun every year for pest control. Half would consider themselves conservative, but you won't catch them turning down a government check. The EWG database is definitely enlightening and exposes many for the criminals they are.
To the OP's topic, it's a matter of when and probably soon because there are a lot of people, especially younger voters, who voted for Obama the first time around because they wanted to be part of history and had no idea what the heck they were doing. Unfortunately it's somewhat due to the novelty of having a woman president and it won't be for the better because of that sentiment.  Hillary certainly does fit the part of a commie dictator, she's starting to look like one lately.

Dairies get Gov. funding to build their dairies, then go out and get quotes on all the new support
equipment like tractors and generators. Then once they have the money in hand they buy the
most used up garbage they can find. And apply the rest to their new homes or cars.

Really. Poor dumbass VT dairy farmers musnt know their piehole from the other one. They cant seem to hang onto their farms, let alone make a living at it. Guess they're all just too stupid to get all that free money being handed out. You want to PM me your telephone number so I can have a few fellows in my neck of the woods call you so you can tell 'em where all this free dairy money is?

Not anymore the Dairy industry is collapsing and the banks won't back the loans anymore.
I know the guy that sold the standby generators to 90 % of the new Dairies going in here and around
Clovis and Muleshoe during the last 20 years. He sold them the older stuff just like a friend of his
sold them the old loaders. And both of their story's are the same about this the Gov backed the bank
loans just like what went on with the housing market.
Ill put it this way the initials of his company was DE, and if your in the Dairy business it isn't hard to
find out who I'm talking about. No one else sold more generators in this part of the country than he
did to the Dairy industry for the last 20 years.

Dee is right.  I live in Kansas, and I know a whole lot of farmers, even a lot who talk a big game about how they don't take government handouts.  Not sure I've ever met one who didn't use subsidized insurance, among other things.  Anyway, it's not terribly hard to look the info up:
http://farm.ewg.org/search.php?fips=00000
There are plenty of other sites too, just google it.  If someone doesn't show up when you put their name in, try their wife.  If that doesn't work, try by county and look for a partnership or corp.  They'll always be there somewhere...

As a matter of fact, I didn't know how to access this info, and wondered for years. dukkillr showed me where to look. It's like he says. You got a question? Somebody, somewhere has an answer. Ya just gotta ask, and then listen. For several years an aquaintance used one of his teenage daughters to get subsidies. Now since she grew up and got married, he names his wife, whom most likely couldn't even find the land that he leases, and farms. But she gets the money just the same. Right now their in the mountains cause it's hot where they live, and their ILLEGAL Mexican is doin the farmin. He, by the way is paid so well, he buys "rent houses", and he's ILLEGAL.
I've had one farmer tell me that they deserve the money. He can't tell me why, just that he does. He drives a "King Ranch Ford" farm pickup, and usually trades every 1 to 2 years, and his wife drives top end Eddie Bower SUVs, and usually gets a new one every 9 months to a year. She gets matching funds on the subsidy side, and thinks it's a secret, but those in the know, know.

Pretty much everyone with their hand out, whether in the open, or behind their back will vote Democrat. Regardless of who runs. I've listened for the last few years how qualified Hilary is, and I ask them, and myself. What did she do to get so qualified. She narrowly missed the pen in Arkansas. She was married to Bill Clinton, whom was impeached, and his law license taken away. That pretty much covers her experience.
She has however proven how ruthless she can be. Maybe that's what qualifies her. :-\

She is an admitted Maoist and has studied the workings of China across the board. That should
qualify her, at least in China anyway.  ::)

If she is so smart why did she take two times to pass the New York Bar?  My wifes neice passed it the first time she took it.  Hmmm.

Independent individualism is what made America.  Where each person could be or do what they wanted.  Liberty.  Collectivism isn't liberty, it only forces everyone to the lowest common denominator.  Smart hard working people get lumpped in with dumb lazy people.  A hard worker who isn't rewarded like in a capitalist system, gets frustrated and quits working so hard.  A lazy person only does what he has to do to get by, but is rewarded equally?  From each according to his ability, to each according to his need?  Doesn't make sense.  That is why the Soviet Union fell.  At the rate we are going, we will bankrupt ourselves and fall also.  Capitalism in the last two hundred years caused ALL boats to rise.  Even the poor today are better off than 200 years ago.  With capitalism each generation became better off than the previous generation.  We are now going downhill.  Homes have lost value, money can't buy as much.  This forces us to either make things ourselves, grow our own food, or work extra jobs for money.

  OK gotcha now!  We have some like that in this area...rather like this fellow;
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
   Hog RaisingThe Honorable Ed Foreman
 House of Representatives
 Congressional District #16
 Washington 25, D.C.
Dear Sir:
My friend over in Terebone Parish received a $1,000 check from the government this year for not raising hogs.  So I am going into the not-raising hogs business next year.
What I want to know is, in your opinion, what is the best kind of farm not to raise hogs on and the best kind of hogs not to raise?  I would prefer not to raise Razorbacks, but if that is not a good bread not to raise, I will just as gladly not raise any Berkshires or Durocs.
The hardest work in this business is going to be in keeping an inventory on how many hogs I haven’t raised.
My friend is very joyful about the future of his business.  He has been raising hogs for more than 20 years and the best he ever made was $400, until this year, when he got $1,000 for not raising hogs.
If I can get $1,000 for not raising 50 hogs, then I will get $2,000 for not raising 100 hogs.  I plan to operate on a small scale at first, holding myself down to 4,000 hogs which means that I will have $80,000 coming from the government.
Now, another thing:  these hogs I will not raise will not eat 100,000 bushels of corn.  So will you pay me anything for not raising 100,000 bushels of corn to feed the hogs I am not raising?
I want to get started as soon as possible as this seems to be a good time of year for not raising hogs.
One more thing, can I raise 10 or 12 hogs on the side while I am in the not-raising-hog business just enough to get a few sides of bacon to eat?
Very truly yours,
