280 Remington--Nosler 150 E-Tip
« on: June 19, 2013, 09:39:02 AM »
1st attempt with the E-Tip. 1st two were okay and I pulled #3 to the left. It's shooting of the year and it always takes me awhile to settle I to it. Mild load of IMR4350.

I'm interested in what works in your 280.

If I can make it go bang it can't be that hard to do.

ive tried them and the 140  in 2 280s, 2 7mags and my 7stw and they only shot well in one of my 7mags and that was the 140 grain version. I did shoot a few deer with that bullet and it does seem to open up better then a tssx barnes but the barnes has shown me more accuracy.

Tried it again this afternoon. 1" X 3 shots.  Raise it up a couple of inches and I'm ready to go hunting with this load.
