Found a 7400 in dads safe ! how good are bad ,accurate,what load found some 150-180 core locks  thanks for help :-\

you didn't say what chambering, i'll
assume 30/06 or .308
there's really no way to tell what it
likes until you shoot it.

Remington AccuTip ammo is quite good if you can find any.

I would presume your Dad used that rifle with the Ammo at hand. See how it shoots, there is nothing wrong with the Rem Corelokts coming out of a 30-06 for sure.

some of them even shoot very good for hunting rifles.
