Bobby Jindal- Presidential Material or Republican Problem?
« on: June 20, 2013, 04:04:50 PM »
"The left wants: The government to explode; to pay everyone; to hire everyone; they believe that money grows on trees; the earth is flat; the industrial age, factory-style government is a cool new thing; debts don't have to be repaid; people of faith are ignorant and uneducated; unborn babies don't matter; pornography is fine; traditional marriage is discriminatory; 32 oz. sodas are evil; red meat should be rationed..."
 —Gov. Bobby Jindal

After the 2012 election, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal made a name for himself as the most eager and aggressive of the GOP’s self-flagellators. Republicans have to “stop being the stupid party,” he raged. They have to compete for “the 47 percent and the 53 percent,” and “any other combination of numbers that adds up to 100 percent.” Above all, they need to “stop insulting the intelligence of voters.”

Jindal has gone from diagnosing what’s wrong with the Republican Party to personifying it. The GOP’s problem isn’t that it insults the intelligence of the voters. It’s that it insults its own intelligence. It’s come up with a theory of liberal governance that has obviated the need for a theory of conservative governance. As Josh Barro writes at Business Insider, “So many of its members have a warped vision of what liberalism is. They think it’s something so mind-bendingly awful that they cannot fathom how voters could willingly choose it. It must be some mistake. And sooner or later, mistakes get fixed.”

That’s how the GOP becomes the stupid party: Republican Party elites like Jindal convince Republican Party activists of things that aren’t true. And that’s how the GOP becomes the losing party: The activists push the Republican Party to choose candidate decisions and campaign strategies based on those untruths, and they collapse in the light of day.

Sure did a good job turning Louisiana around.  I personally wish he would run for POTUS, he would get my vote.

And when did you notice the Democrats have centered on being the lunatic fringe? George Soros and Bloomberg being the left's party elite really puts a shine on the Dims doesn't it. Funny how the left couldn't identify stupid staring back from a  mirror.

Huh ? The Republicans lunatic ? Let's see, The Dems want to outlaw 32 oz sodas; let your girls buy the morning after pill regardless of age; can't take an aspirin at school w/o parental consent, yet they can get an abortion w/o parents notification; go bananas when a schoolboy wears an NRA shirt; want to tax  your hard earned money every which way they can; want to limit gun magazines to 7 rnds; bends over backwards to accomodate Muslims, yet restrict Christians every which way it can (no 10 commandments, no graduation prayer, no mention of Christmas, etc.  Too many to list.
I can see clearly now , the Republicans are truly insane, right ?

Yeah, there's only one major political party that's a thousand time worse than the Republican party and that is the Dumycrat (Communist) party.
