Quote from northkid: "Tim, pete, Doc are y`all to blame for this. The Handi`s are more accurate and feel better for shooting. Just better all around."
Somehow I knew that. I had several T/C MLs, a Seneca, a Cherokee, and a White Mountain Carbine, in .45, .32 and .54 caliber. They would shoot. Patty still has a Seneca .45 and it is a shooter. I don't own, or want to own, a T/C centerfire. Everything I hear tells me the same thing: The T/Cs won't outshoot a Handi and the Handi is the best bang for the buck. I never could get used to that ugly, cockamamie stock on the T/Cs.
T/C made some wonderful Traditional Muzzle Loaders, and stopped when they had their factory fire years ago. The market was turning rapidly to in-line MLs and Thompson Center shifted to that focus. That's where the bucks were. Then they went to center fires and lost me completely. I don't like their in-lines or their center fires.
