Saw the heart dr today.
« on: July 01, 2013, 05:10:33 PM »
I forgot they would weigh me and got on the scales with my knife, 2 sets of keys, several misc items, 6 or 7 $ worth of change and my pistol in my pockets, heh, forgot about it. Dr said, seems you've gained 4 lbs. Got to cut down on the fats, triglicerides up. He made an apt for me next Mon to see another for tests on my legs, he at least let me have the pentoxifilin back for my legs.

Tomorrow I see a respiratory spclst for the emphysema, another 100 mile round trip. Drove the 50 miles to the dr in a storm, about 1/2 way there the drivers side windshield wiper actually bent about 6 in from the end. Had to drive leaning over in a storm trying to see out of the pass side. Heading home I got gas and noticed a tire going flat. Aired it up and drove to BIG O a mile away. They found a nail and chgd me $17 to fix the flat. I have had better days, tomorrow will be better. POWDERMAN.  Grin Grin

Is that for circulation or what?

You should'ave driven over here to P&C Tire. They only charge $10 to fix a flat tire.

Powderman; How on earth are you makin it?   That's alot of Dr's. you're feedin.
I'll keep you in my prayers, pardner.  I've seen some miracles, and other folks recover very slowly.
I was told after my last heart attack that my heart had no rythm, just flittered a 17% output.  They gave me less than 6 months. Stoked me up with all kinds of meds.  That was thirteen years ago.  About 7 years ago, a lil redhead woman preacher I didn't even know, called me up front during church.  Layed hands on me, said God wasn't through with me yet, and I wouldn't have to take all that medication any more.  Years went by, but what she said stuck with me.  One night I had a real bad spell, and was in the hospital for 3 days.  They took me off most of the meds then, and as the months passed, they continued to take, and change, and reduce my meds till all I take is two different pills a day for my blood pressure, and see the Doc twice a year for physical checkup.   So, brother, keep the faith, and as an old preacher used to say "If you can stand the pull; God will pull you through". :)
Enjoy your rights to keep and bear arms.

Yesterday must have been Dr. day as I saw 2 and while at my ENT Dr. for my throat I also had a ear hearing test done, My hearing has been going downhill for the past year, I don't need a hearing Aid yet but in a year or 2 it may be necessary, the others issues passed with flying colors!   Jim
