Looking at the posts reminds me of my little town.........go away to the army or school for 4-5 years..... come back. Same guy at the diner, setting in the same booth, eating the same breakfast..... looks up..... hey, how you been? Haven't seen you in awhile- you go some place?

Gone for about three years, come back with wife and one child, oops we didn't come back . It was a different city and State.

Been in "the city" my whole life.  Small town life has been amplified in film, such as (*but not only) "Doc Hollywood"*.  From outside looking in, it looks real nice.

Actually, what led me to post this was the loss of 8 months of lost posts. I logged in, looked at the topics..... thought I should reply to that...... then discovered I HAD..... 10 months ago. The bad thing is- I never noticed the loss of the 8 months--- the subject matter-- the responders--- the arguments---- all were the same . I guess we are who we are, that is how we all wound up here with each other in the first place. I don't think we need to worry about the posts----- they will all be recreated shortly on their own.
