I have not seen or heard of anything like this. I think years ago, before the 1968 gun act, it was OK to do things like this. It may not meet today's laws. Depends on whether it was sold as a handgun or rifle or shotgun.

That was my thoughts at first too. But after a lil research I learned about it. Apparently it's nothing different than a Mossberg 500 with a pistol grip in the box.

It was offered with BOTH stocks. A 20" barrel and 28" OAL. So no legality issues. Also it was offered for two years in the mid 1980's!!

LOOKS short in the pics to me too!!  Ooh yea all where Nickle plate too.  24VS

As long as it's 26" overall, it would be legal in respects.

My question is why?.....a pistol grip?

For me, it would be much more useful with a regular buttstock on it....

It was somebody's idea of the "perfect gun"......

There are places in the USA that hand guns are illegal and a gun like this or a pistol grip shotgun is a good home defense gun.
If ya can see it ya can hit it !

I agree I don't really see the advantages to it. Aside from the "cool factor". That and the fact that I never herd of it at all. I like to think I've seen more than my share. Just goes to prove you learn something every day!!!
