Rossi 45/410 pistol

This is my new toy. Rossi 45/410 barrel with a 22lr barrel. Both 11". Found a thigh holster for it. Cant wait to go out and try it on some rabbits.

Let us know how it works out for you.
 
I'd be interested to hear what kind of patterns you get with shot loads and what kind of effective range it has on rabbits.  Looks like it would be fun to chase bunnies with!

I have had the matched pair for 8 months now, effective range with the 2 1/2 in 410 for bunnies and squirrel is at MOST 20 yds. better 10 or 15.  The 45 colt (with tube removed) with my hand loads, 230 gr Leadheads, 8 gr. of IMR SR 7625( ABOUT 800 FPS) from a pistol rest will keep 5 rounds in the center of a 9 in. paper plate at 25 yds. no target pistol, but ain't bad.  The 22 barrel IS drilled and tapped for a scope base.(45 is not) a TC Contender base will fit. With a 4x Bushnell rim fire scope, that 11 in. barrel will shoot 2 1/2 to 3 in groups at 50 yds. from same rest with bulk ammo. Again, no target pistol, but ain't too bad either. this is about what you can expect from yours. hope this helps.
