Just wanted ya'lls thoughts on this traded a rossi 88,38 special 5-shot had about 7yrs. for a N.E.F. 243 brand new wood stocks I'm happy but was just wondering good trade or not? :lol:

I personally think it's a great trade. Much more useful as well as more fun. A better gun and I think head to head worth more $....<><.... :grin:

:D I think you got a great deal! 5 shot 38specials are almost becoming a "dime a dozen" in some stores, and won't even take them in trade!
That Handi will be more of an adventure. :)

It all comes down to the value you place on each. An NEF rifle doesn't make a very good concealed carry gun, but it beats the heck out of the 100 yard groups from a five shot .38. As for my opinion, I think it's a great trade, and would have made it myself. Enjoy your new rifle! :agree:
