Taliban claims they have captured a military dog
« on: February 08, 2014, 03:50:15 AM »
Yes, that's their claim, do you suppose they will torture the dog, burn it's body and hang it from a bridge?  Or will they just behead it on TV? ;)  :o :P

It depends.
If it is a female they may marry it!

I'm sorry about my remark about a muslim and a dog getting married.
I'm sure that they would in all reality, never lower themselves to marrying or even having sex with a muslim.
They may turn and eat their own puke at times, but even dogs have their limits.  ;)

After seeing the fuss over the police dog that was stabbed. I wouldn't be surprised if a Seal team is sent in to rescue it. After all the Taliban may have ways of making the dog talk, where it could give up secret information.

Considering their general dislike and fear of canines, I am a bit suspicious.

No I haven't and it is not on my wish list. On the other hand for a Muslim a good number of our social habits would be equally disgusting.

Leave 'em alone there and watch them here.

Why is it not on your wish list ?  You could learn a great deal that was not "strained" by the Pentagon or the alphabets nets.

Believe me, you cannot very accurately discuss such stuff until you have..  Besides, there is nothing wrong with learning things first-hand.

Glad it was not a soldier, as for the dog he will accept his new home and never know the difference.

That may be a good idea forour troops..take a dog that just doesn't "cut it" , make that vest a bomb vest and let the knotheads catch it and form a group around it..
Interesting sidelight;   When i was a young tanker and the Soviet Union was our most likely enemy, we were told to turn our .30 machine gun on any dogs that may happen to be on thew field.  Seems the Russians used to raise pups around tanks, feed and water them under the tanks.  They would then take these dogs to the field where their tanks were unlikely to be and strap explosives on their backs, with an over-the-back trip stick.  When the battle got hot and if any of our tanks showed up, they would turn these dogs loose.. and they would run for their "security blanket"..the nearest tank..

Hey, I looked around the web and found some info plus a video of the anti-tank dogs in use.
