Congrats.  My .223 bull barrel was exactly the same.  I found it heavier than I wanted, so I went to a Superlite Barrel, which does heat up some, but the first two are always dead on.  ;)  If I don't need to shoot a bunch, it'll do almost the same group size.  8)

That's kinda like thanking someone for introducing you to meth.  First get 'em shooting Handi's, then show 'em the basics of reloading.  Once you're hooked there's no going back.  I've been handloading over 50 years, now up to 5 Handi's in 22Hornet,.223, 7mm Mauser, .44Mag, and now .444Marlin, plus 2 other single shots.  Where does it stop?  GW

I am a newbie hand-loader too! It really is a sickness. I have already started buying Dies for rifles I don't even have! I just cannot stop myself! Is there a Hornady 12 step program? HA! I will be loading 3030 Win this afternoon. I prepped about 100 cases yesterday evening. Last week I made a trade for an electric 20# pot (with bottom pour), 60# of pure lead ingots, 6 bullet - 9mm mold and about 1000 cast 9mm bullets. I think the REAL trouble is just getting ready to start! Woo-hoo.

"Captain, my religious belief teaches me to feel as safe in battle as in bed. God has fixed the time for my death. I do not concern myself about that, but to be always ready, no matter when it may overtake me. Captain, that is the way all men should live, and then all would be equally brave."  ~Stonewall Jackson~  24 July 1861

I can just hear it now" "Another one bites the dust!"
"You are entitled to your own opinions, but you are not entitled to your own facts." - Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan

When you allow a lie to go unchallenged, it becomes the truth.

My quandary, I personally, don't think I have enough Handi's but, I know I have more Handi's than I really need or should have.
