« on: February 09, 2014, 06:50:34 AM »
i got a chance to go shooting yesterday took both my encores a 20"41mag carbine and a 44mag encore pistol .after i got the scopes dialed in i was shooting and hitting used shotgun hulls from 50-75 yards and hitting 8 out of ten at 100 yards i was amazed at the accuracy and i was shooting my old hunting load [max charge of 296 with a 210xtp] .the 44mag loved 180 and 200 xtps shot my 260g swcgc hard cast pretty good .and it didn't care for the 315 lee fngc hard cast at all .all and all a very good day in the woods

Good to hear your barrels are shooting good with your Encore. During good weather I like to shoot about 50 rounds a week with my 44 mag Encore pistol barrel, usually 25 or so at one sitting. After a month or so of practice I can break a clay bird at 100 yards 8 out of 10 times while using a good rest. I have told this to a few people and they just look at me like I am BS-ing them.
