The service dog thread got me to thinking about this...... After several heart surgeries and a stroke the doctors said I qualified for a handicapped license plate so I can park closer to the stores and buildings I need to go to.
Then they tell me it's important to exercise everyday to keep the heart circulating and recomend at least 20 minuets on the treadmill every day..... Go figure.
This got me to thinking, I've been wanting to get a dog for around the place to keep the varmints out of the garbage cans & such. The wife is very opposed to the idea of another pet. Will tie us down she says. We won't be able to travel like we want to.
I just was wondering if I might qualify for a service dog?
? If I could talk the old doctor into it then I could take fido everywhere with me. Even on the airplane. And to the restaurant. And into the hotel.
And most importantly how could the wife refuse to let me follow DOCTORS ORDERS.
What you think, do I qualify?
Now let's see what will fido do for me?
