Alabama and Tennessee are great states for business.  We are growing like crazy.

Wonder what will come out of their R&D, if they hire some of the ex-NASA rocket scientists in Huntsville?

Sure wish one of these "BIG" firearm manufactures would decide to relocate in central Georgia :( . They would certainly be welcome in the community.

Fact is southerners still speak the closest to the way Americans did in the colonial period.  Yankees just can't understand us because most of them were 19th and 20th century immigrants.

Heard  they  be  hiring  2000  employees .  Hope  they'll  make  cartridges  there  and  end  the  shortage.

Fact is southerners still speak the closest to the way Americans did in the colonial period.  Yankees just can't understand us because most of them were 19th and 20th century immigrants.

Real Yankees (New Englanders) should have no problem understanding that English either since we also speak real close to colonial English. When I watch shows on TV like Moonshiners and Swamp People I don't need the subtitles that they put at the bottom to understand them and actually hear a lot of similarities to the way I speak. It's similar but different in other ways.

I'm glad Remington is making this move, I was hoping they'd pull out of NY completely but this is a good start to stick it to the gun grabbers.
"Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves."

Doublebass:  actually, it doesn't stick it to the gun grabbers, it sticks it to us.  That greasy ny governor does not care one squat about gun manufacturers or industry in upstate ny.  he is a greasy queens democrap who hates upstate because we threw his father out back in 95.  20 years of mario kwomo as both lt gov and gov drove this state to the bottom of the financial cesspool and this kid governor we have will keep upstate there if he can.

Remington is not the only gun firm to move out of ny and may not be the last, but he does not care about nys, only his political future.

Good for Alabama.  There are good people there and I hope the Remington folk who move there can grow to appreciate exactly how good that state is.  What the hay, they may have to give up their snowmobiles, cross country skis and snowshoes but they will be much better off than if they stayed here in ny.

And as for speaking english - hey ya'll...................write when you get there.
