recoil pad for 444 marlin

I just purchased a Marlin 444ss and I am interested in putting a slip on limb saver recoil pad on it. I have checked out the ones that Midway has listed, but the sizes they have listed don't seem to match what my stock measures. I'm hoping someone here has used one and can advise what size I should order. Thanks, Rick

It's up to you, but Wal-Mart carries them for about half the price of Midway, etc.  Last time I bought one there they were packaged as Winchester brand.
 
I'm guessing your Marlin will probably take the medium size, but WM will exchange it if it doesn't fit.
