NEF 17 HMR value

Was in a shop about 45 miles from me yesterday and saw an NEF 17HMR on the rack. Has Tasco scope on it and had had several rust spots about the size of a dime rubbed off the receiver - still had a pretty good spot of rust on the receiver face when i broke it open,  Bore and barrel looked pretty good - heavy barrel, no sights.  What would something like this be worth? I thought the $249 price tag was a bit high as rough as it was.

[Plenty Coups]

Picked mine up for $150. Used but unfired w/out a scope. That was a little over a year ago. For $249 it had better have a high$$ Leupold scope on it!!!!!

purchased three of the last four bud's had in stock last month. price for all three delivered was $568.00. one for me and two for friends. we have rechambered all three to 17 wsm, waiting on ammo, which is back ordered.
