Fore end for Rem. 742

Part of the fore end about 2 in. long broke off. I know you can't order a new one from rem. I read somewhere that other fore ends from other rem. auto's will fit it but don't remember which one. Does anybody have information about this?    Many thanks, Jenkst

may be some info in the numrich catalog.
looking at ram line, they have one listing
for 742, 7400, four, 74, and and 750 all made
after 1975, so you know those r.l. interchange.
i can't say for the factory pieces.
