375-08 handi arrival
« on: February 26, 2014, 10:45:00 AM »
Got my 243 barrel back from jes reboring. Its now a 375-08. Has the 3 groove rifling. Rifling looks a lot better than some of the new ones I have purchased. Shot a couple trail boss loads today just to try it out. Gotta wait till weather breaks to head to range. Can't really find any load data for it.
Would it ok to use 358 winchester data for this? I am guessing pressure would be a little lower than listed data due to slightly larger bore.
I am using necked up 308 brass. Easy one pass through sizing die and its done.

Sounds pretty neat.  Kind of interesting to find data on wildcats sometimes.  I think this is also referred to as the .375-08 Jaguar and there are 6 loads here:

Jason, why do you do this to me ???   I've got four spare frames in the drawer looking for a home, and a pile of .308 brass.  Yeah, you're another enabler ::)

That sound like a real brush buster to me.  You need some of these to try in it, Only problem is they are two bucks apiece. That is a 150gr .308 FMJ in there for reference.    Specs 300 grain solid HP, BC .750.
