Hi guys, I am a long time lurker and am ready to buy a cannon. I hope to get one of armour 77's hmr pieces when he gets back to production, and I put my name in for one of Doms dictators, I just missed the last run back several years ago. I'd like to get a steel lathe turned cannon with the recommended chamber dimensions and I want to shoot it with real balls once in a while, though mostly use it for the occasional salute. I want a bigger 1/2 scale barrel, probably with gb bore. I like the lines of mountain howitzers and the 1841, but the parrots are cool too. Something that weighs 40 to 100 pounds is kind of what my eye is on, a big 4 or 5 inch breech chunk o steel. Trouble is with hmr slowed Down and cannon mikes seeming to be out (not sure but have not been able to contact) is anyone else out there making such these days? Kansas cannon works doesn't seem to meet the criteria and not crazy about glued trunnions. I did find these guys
www.coachesclubcannons.com. Looks to be a new outfit, perhaps their mountain howitzer might do, though the lines are kind of ugly IMHO. I'm a blacksmith and woodworker, so I just want a barrel. Any pointers appreciated, Also please pm me if you have one you might sell.
