I will second that on talking guns and hunting. That used to be the vast majority of what we did on the old GBO before we sold it. It has morphed tho to now it is rare that someone talks such things. Shame.

He will be trying to spread the word to as many as he can. Since I still act as a representative of VS on the forum site they own I can't solicit for activity here.

Any who decide they like what Matt has done here can help him spread the word.

^^^I'm with Lloyd! I too hope the BS and the arguing stay behind and once again there will be folks talking guns/hunting/reloading, etc and not the bashing of others who's opinions differ.

For now I have disabled the religious discussion forum here. It will not be visible to members. Matt and I will talk about it when we get time and decide if it returns or stays gone.

As much as I like to let folks talk about whatever they want to, that topic has caused a great deal of hard feelings and prolly led to more folks dropping out there than any other single cause.

So post up some new topics for discussion. The key to getting folks to participate is as I've always said having new topics to read and post to.

Most folks won't start a topic but will reply to one someone else has started. Most of you guys posting to this aren't shy about starting threads so do so. I've posted a good many here to see if I can get some discussion going, more new threads are needed.

Google is indexing this site or maybe has completed it by now. So they should start sending folks here when they search soon.

I missed the day's when we moderated like a referee in a boxing ring. They get away with violations we wouldn't allow as moderators back when you had the reigns. Old Duck and I were busy on the political forums,but we didn't put up with flaming and personal insults, and you and Matt had our backs. The new forum is like watching a male version of the VIEW.

At the moment on this site the moderators showing are those who were moderators on the various forums back when we sold the site. As time moves along and we feel the need we will be asking folks to help out.

But for here and now we'd be happy to have Brad aka nw-hunter agree to take over the role under same conditions he mentioned from the old days.
