no deer season starts Friday. I already have my 8.5 in 300bo ready to go for that. Then muzzle loading season then Christmas ect ect. Plus by the end of November theres usually to much snow to get into my range. The way it looks outside today even tommarow will be to late. Weve got 8 inches on the ground and there calling for another 12-24 in the next day or two. It will be back to casting and loading for me for a couple months. I did slap a 2x7 Nikon p 300 scope on it this morning and bore sighted it and shot a couple holes in the snow to see if its close.

A Friday opener sounds pretty cool. Guess you are a little pressed for time. I had to work a month later this year due to the wet spring, so I'm way behind on my prep work. Nothing better than rolling into deer camp though. Good luck and stay safe.
