I want one so I can see the rover and flags on the moon and maybe the footprints. That's really the only way I'd believe they are there. Yeah I know not even Hubble can see those.

Hubble isn't pointed in that direction. You don't see flags or anything like that, but you can see rover tracks
and discoloration of where the LEM lifted off. But only at certain times. Just sayin.

I have a Celestron with that "cassio-whatever" type internals and just couldn't get it clear, might have to mess with it. Do you really like yours?

I have a small Meade but have grown tired of looking at bright spots in the night sky plus there is so much light pollution around here that it's a long drive to get away from it. I haven't been able to see the milky way from my back yard for at least forty years. It does work pretty well for a terrestrial telescope if you want to go to the trouble of setting it up and is easily manipulated by hand instead of the electronic controls.

We can still see the Milky Way out here, but only during certain times of the year. Mostly during the winter.

Venus is a real dud to look at, just a big yellow bright spot. Jupiter and Saturn you can see pretty well
at times, you can even see there moons. Mars is so so, ive only seen it well a few times when it was close.
Even then it looked like a shiny penny with a few dark spots. Not very much detail.
