Oversize Ebony grips with Finger Grooves
« on: February 26, 2004, 12:05:23 PM »
:-D Just put a set on my SBHH and managed to fire 35 rounds before dark. I like them, the fit was perfect on my gun and my hand fits them perfect. Recoil was definately more controlable and comfortable for me. With the factory grips and a two handed grip the trigger guard use to smack the fingers on my left hand. No problem at all with the new grips. My only issue is that they have a high gloss finish, would have prefered a satin finish myself. I do give them a thumbs up.

Thanks for the link. I just found out where I'm going to get a new set of grips for my Accusports Bisley .45 Colt.

I think I'm going to try a set of the Ebony gunfighter grips.
Graybeard, Which ones are you going to get?
I've got one of the Accusports 45's too.  I've just started puttering with different loads.  I'll carry it this summer and fall packing in the high country.  I ran some cor-bom 300grs down the tube.  The stock grips don't stay put in my hands.  Maybe these new grips will make it a wee bit easier to hang on to.
erick,
Thanks for the link.  I've been looking for some different grips for my Bisley.
