DELETE Contender Carbine barrel band question??

I have a custom made Schnabel forearm that I really donot want to put a sling stud on, because I feel I will not be able to extend my grip on the forearm , the way I want.  The three barrels I use with that forearm are custom bull barrels.   I hunt with the barrels, not target shoot, has anyone had success or failure installing barrel bands.  I think it could affect accuracy a little, but...I am not sure. If you want to suggest certain brands, I would appreciate it.  THANKS!

Personally I would forget the sling before I put anything on the barrel. But if you a dead set on a sling then I would say just go out and try it. If a band on the barrel affects accuracy too much you can always take it off.   KN
