NEF Barrel length

Does the barrel length include the chamber or not?
My barrel is 24 inches from the rear of the case to the tip of the muzzle.Does this mean its a 24 inch or do you deduct the chamber length?

Barrel length is from back of the chamber to the the end of  barrel.
in other words if you close acyion and run cleaning rod down bore
mark at muzzle that is barrel length. Marv.

Exactly what marv said. Same deal on a bolt or levergun, cleaning rod stops at the bolt face. Kool thing about the Handi's is you have a shorter overall gun in the Handi than you do in a bolt or lever with the same length barrel. I have a Handi with a 26'' barrel and it's the same overall length as some of my bolt guns with 22'' barrels. 8)
