just some attacking and criticizing my religion. Did I criticize your beliefs? Did I tell you your wrong for not believing in lent? Nope. It wasn't me that appointed myself the judge here. Hater?? I wasn't trying to bash your religion or tell you my beliefs are somehow more valid then some other here. Some that border on being more in a cult then an organized religion. But I wont name names or make it personal. They know who they are. I somehow find it comical that some feel the need to bash the Catholics. Do you have to do it to justify your tiny little group of believers. Like asking 5 million people what 2+2 is and half of them say 4 and and the rest of them come up with varying answers from one to a 1000. Ill hedge my bet on what the largest group believes. They got large for a darned good reason and some of you in your tiny little churches stay tiny for darned good reasons. Nobody agrees with your radical beliefs!! Sure are a heck of a lot of people that believe the exact same thing I do!!!!! Id love to get along here but id have to be just another hypocrite to do so.
I thought this place was suppose to leave the religious bickering behind and not have a religion section.

id bet your on first name basis with a few neuroscientist and psychologist and psychiatrists and no doubt some drug dealers too. I also have no doubt greybeard management has even asked you to practice some restraint in the past. Practice what you preach. In my life I was taught to fight for my beliefs not to be some panny waist fancy word spouting yuppy. Ive said it before MANY times on the other fourm. If you want to single out the Catholics then stand by. I will be there. Don't like it? then shut your mouth!  8)
Here is a teaching from a neuroscientist with 30+ years of practice, she speaks of how important restraint is in our lives, IF we practice it.

Truth be told religious and Christian discussion would be great if there was a Christian here to discuss it with. NO Christian faith condones or teaches the tearing down of other Christian faiths. At least none that ive encountered. Not a real chirstian that ive seen post here since you ran off Team Nelson a REAL military Chaplin and a real Chirstian because he didn't like your hate games and poser beliefs and called you out on them daily.  Bunch of wanabes and internet experts at best and surely nothing more.

Our Church is small, up to 18-20 attending. If folks want to hear the truth, they will love it there. The people and especially the message every Sunday makes me feel a lot better going out that door than when I go in. It charges my btty up for whatever the coming week holds. CHARLIE.  ;D

He sure didn't act POed, He was just a very busy man. We really didn't talk much about the web site.
Or its members, He was telling me about how nice it is where he's at now. I had heard stories about it
from other Sailors, but I had never been there.

Powderman- that seems where the Lord does most of the work, in the remnant of believers, never the majority, glad to hear of your worship place.  I have heard it taught that a pastor can effectively pastor a church of at the most about 200, but then a smaller group , you have more of an opportunity for intimacy with the Father, and of course much less unbelief or outward form pew warmers.

I get that feeling when ever I  leave after a service regardless of the size of the church.
I go to church to talk to and thank God at his house.
Even if it is a clap happy or foot stomping version, that does not get in the way of why I am there, though I much prefer the formal setting I grew up with. 8)

Great to hear, from both of you same here as well. Especially pray asking for divine encounters, He always gives them, at least to me, and what He does for one He will do for another.

Going to church to receive is necessary sometimes, going to give to others is what Jesus would have us do.

.

  Truthfully; we could have some enlightening discussions between us, and often have done so.  I truly enjoy discussing things relating to the

Christian faith..using the written word as a source reference..verse for verse for witness.  That way we all can participate..

   Yes; the Nicean creed uses the term "catholic", meaning "universal' or the church which Jesus founded..

    No surprise that certain denominations claim the title for their own..and that is OK by me, any denomination can call themselves

    "checkerboard square" for all I care..but when discussing such, I have to refer to the Roman Catholic church, or RC Church,  just for clarity.

     Otherwise.."a rose by any other name"...

   It would be greatly helpful if some folks were not near so "sensitive''..  Especially when I hear the very sensitive fellow make statements

    as below;
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 " id bet your on first name basis with a few neuroscientist and psychologist and psychiatrists and no doubt some drug dealers too."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

  Come on now..wasn't that a bit more hostile than speaking upon Lent ?  Especially when nobody was "attacking" you before you

    joined the discussion..

Let's try not to be insulting, but try to answer statements with proof statements .  A preferred and perfect reply when you feel to be "attacked"

  is to reply with a Bible verse which disproves their contention....  Hard to argue with the written word..

Hi IG, great to see you as always, thank you for your input, yes it is amazing a human being can have those thoughts in their head and claim to be modeling how Christ would have us all live, more like something I have heard in the lowest part of the slammer where the very demonically oppressed live.
   How do you like the 22 in the Avatar? I have held one at Brownells and they seemed to have hit the nail on the head in additions and accoutrements to the basic platform.

Charile-  I have taken to inviting Holy Spirit to the service , He always comes, I ask He bring His healing, restoration and develop a hunger for His truth. He always comes, i sit in the back and watch as individuals are taken by the Spirit.   It's a blessing to pray for them as the service progresses.
       There are times we go to be served, the best times are when we make ourselves available to him to be His hands and feet and pray  without ceasing during service, the more we do it, the more effectual we are.

  Hey..I truly like that rifle so far, and  I like it better than the 10/22s I have had (4 of them).  Now, easy guys..I'm not "attacking" the 10/22..what I mean by better, is that many improvements have been made to the 10/22 0ver the years, by owners of the guns..and TC has included some of those improvements as standard equipment.

  There is a set of peep/fiber optic sights on that rifle that is worth at least $80.  There is a cleanout hole in the rear of the receiver, so the bore can be cleaned from the rear..and what I consider a major deal, is the machined in, picatinny rail.

  the bolt is machined a bit finer (IMO)..plus the bolt is contoured just as my grandson recontours the bolt on custom 10/22s he builds.
The Magpul stock is gratis..just a standard feature. The 1/2 X 28 threaded barrel with protector is standard.

  The magazine provided, has a last round hold back feature..  Some love them..others, like myself, think they are a PI the A...  I use the 10/22 magazines I already have..and it eats everything I have tried, although some light charge rounds (CBs etc) have to be hand cycled.

  Due to the winter weather here, I haven't had a chance to wring it out, but it shows signs of fine accuracy.  All aftermarket parts for the 10/22 are fine fits for the TC 22..

  If I decide to go with a heavy barrel at some time..I will opt for the Feddersen 16.25 inch, just as I did on my last 10/22 build..

  If I move for an aftermarket stock..it will be a Hogue..

.

  No, I am not in any way selling the 10/22 short, after all TC only got the action because the patent ran out !
