Seems that posts are being deleted.


I offered an observation in i the thread about low numbers on this site.
The post was in no way a flame but was evidently interpreted as such.


Would it be possible to have an explanation?


For Bill and Matt, will honest observations and honest conversation be allowed here? 
If not, IMO,  this forum is having the last few nails hammered into the lid of its coffin.

I did a strike thru of the personal attack within the post that got it deleted. Had the last paragraph I struck thru been left out the post would have been allowed to stay.

Two other posts deleted at same time were also personal attacks, there just wasn't anything else in either, only personal attacks so no content in them to revive, one was by Lloyd and the other by Charlie.

So to answer the question, yes comments are welcome. NO personal attacks and name calling is NOT welcome.

From my vantage point the comment was simply an observation. To be a personal attack it would need to be aimed at an individual. It was a comment based on many years personal experience on both forums.


Your decision and you have all the buttons but my comment was not a personal attack.

Your attack was aimed at David, ie. Argent 88. While you did not name him specifically he is the only possible person the attack could have been aimed at.

No. My comment wasn’t aimed at Argent. I had someone else in mind but mentioned no names. I mentioned no names in order to keep within the guidelines that you have set.


My observation is based on the logical conclusion that if one or more people who were primarily agitators on the other site are involved in getting this site going there will be few from the other site who wish to participate here.


Having been on both sites for many years I offer that as a constructive comment. It never was intended as a flame but rather an observation and application of the obvious.

I will add that I think it very noble that Matt revived this site in honor of you. Because of that, and the joy and friendship that many have received over the years from what you had the vision to create, I do hope that this site flourished to some level of what it was known for. I just don’t think that the present drivers, no matter how good their intention, are going to get it to that point.

Bills been at this since 1997, he's seen it all. I trust in his judgement, if he says you did, you did.
No matter how hard you try to worm out of it. Even if it wasn't directed me, you still did it.

Moderating on a forum is sort of akin to refereeing a football game. Can you imagine how long it would take for a game to be played if every call was protested over and over again by the players on the field? I know that sometimes they have instant replays,but we have the printed word. It doesn't change. What we need on these Reload forums is more good healthy participation.Not a bunch of bickering. I know that is sometimes difficult when discussing politics
